Bengaluru: Paediatric healthcare company Hoola Health has acquired early-childhood development platform UpTodd and plans to launch a new care programme, Hoola 1,000 Days, in December 2026, bringing paediatric consultations, specialist support and developmental guidance into a single offering for families with children up to two years old.
The acquisition adds UpTodd’s child-development programmes, content and parent-engagement capabilities to Hoola Health. UpTodd founders Abhishek Singh, Devesh Kaushik and Richa Singh will continue working with Hoola across initiatives spanning technology and the therapy business, the companies said.
Hoola 1,000 Days is designed to cover the period from birth through a child’s second birthday. The company says the programme will include unlimited consultations with Hoola paediatricians and specialists, delivered online or at its clinics depending on the family’s needs. Each enrolled family is also expected to receive access to a dedicated “Care Concierge” to coordinate appointments, direct queries to appropriate specialists and help navigate care.
The programme represents an attempt by Hoola to move beyond episodic paediatric consultations towards longer-term care during early childhood. Its planned structure follows different stages of a child’s development, covering newborn care, feeding, vaccinations and growth in the first six months; nutrition, sleep and the introduction of solid foods between six and 12 months; and developmental milestones, behaviour, nutrition and routine health from one to two years.
Families will also be able to enter the programme before childbirth through services that Hoola says will include maternal nutrition support, prenatal yoga and a pre-birth paediatric consultation.
Founder Deeksha Senguttuvan said Hoola’s experience operating paediatric clinics had highlighted demand from parents for support that continues as children grow rather than being limited to visits made when a child is unwell.
“We started Hoola with the vision of building neighbourhood clinics where children can access trusted paediatric care,” Senguttuvan said. “As we have worked with families, we have seen that parents need a healthcare partner beyond the clinic visit, as their child grows and their needs change.”
She said Hoola 1,000 Days was intended to extend that model across different stages of early childhood.
Founded in 2024 by Senguttuvan and formerly known as BabyMD, Hoola Health describes itself as a paediatric healthcare platform operating neighbourhood clinics. Its services include paediatric consultations, vaccinations, developmental assessments and therapy support.
Hoola has not disclosed the financial terms of the UpTodd acquisition. The material available also does not specify how many clinics Hoola currently operates, the geographic footprint of the programme at launch, or the price of Hoola 1,000 Days.
The company has opened a waitlist ahead of the programme’s planned December 2026 launch.
