After-sales services startup Wiffy has raised $3 million in a Series A funding round led by Earth Fund. Persol also participated through its corporate venture capital arm, Persol Venture Partners, while existing investor Capria Ventures joined the round.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its technology platform and strengthen its AI-powered workforce-management system. Wiffy will also work on deepening partnerships with businesses, adding new service categories and expanding its technician network across India.

Building the infrastructure behind after-sales service

Founded by Vikram Sharma and Deepanshu Goel, Wiffy provides installation, repair and maintenance services for brands operating in the home improvement and consumer durables segments.

Its platform helps companies manage the service process after a product has been sold. This includes technician scheduling, workforce deployment and quality control.

The model is designed around brand partnerships rather than selling services directly to individual households. Wiffy receives service requirements from the companies it works with and then coordinates the technicians needed to complete those assignments.

Earth Fund highlighted this approach as one of the strengths of the business. By receiving demand through brand relationships, Wiffy can build its service operations without depending heavily on direct customer acquisition.

More than 100 brands on the platform

Wiffy works with over 100 brands, including IKEA, Panasonic, Godrej, Hettich and Amazon.

Figures cited by Persol indicate that the company has served more than one million homes. Its operations extend to over 90 cities in India and cover more than 10 service categories.

The startup develops part of its workforce internally while also using a broader technician network. The latest investment will be used to strengthen both the technology behind this system and the company’s ability to deploy trained technicians at a larger scale.

This operational layer is central to Wiffy’s offering. Instead of leaving brands to coordinate different service partners across locations, the platform brings scheduling, deployment and service-quality management into a single system.

Funding to support technology and network expansion

A key focus of the Series A round will be Wiffy’s AI-powered workforce-management capabilities. The company intends to improve how its technology supports the allocation and management of technicians as service demand grows.

The funding will also help Wiffy enter additional categories and build stronger relationships with brands already using its platform.

The company’s leadership believes that field services and the post-purchase experience remain fragmented even as India’s home improvement market expands. Wiffy’s stated goal is to create the technology and service infrastructure that allows brands to deliver a consistent customer experience at scale.

With the backing of Earth Fund, Persol and Capria Ventures, the startup is now preparing to expand both its digital capabilities and its nationwide technician base.

Wiffy’s previous funding

Wiffy has attracted institutional investment in earlier stages of its growth.

The company previously raised $2 million in a pre-Series A round led by Blume Founders Fund and Unitus Ventures. That followed a seed funding round led by Unitus Ventures in July 2021.

The latest Series A adds a new group of backers while retaining support from Capria Ventures. It also gives Wiffy additional capital to expand a model already operating across a large network of brands, homes and Indian cities.
