New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has closed entry and exit at 16 major Metro stations in the capital due to security reasons. The restrictions will remain in place until further orders.

Passengers will not be allowed to enter or leave the Metro network through these stations during this period.

Interchange facilities, however, will continue at Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House and Central Secretariat. This means passengers already travelling on the Metro will be able to change trains or switch lines at these stations, but they will not be permitted to enter or exit the station premises.

Entry and exit have been closed at the following stations:

  1. Lok Kalyan Marg

Passengers Advised to Plan Their Journey

The temporary closure may affect passengers whose starting point or destination is one of the 16 stations listed above. Such commuters may need to use a nearby operational station.

Passengers have been advised to check their route before beginning their journey and plan accordingly.
