At a press event in New York, pieces like the Orb, which features a spherical base, curving body, and brass hardware, appeared to be modern art rather than regular bags. Its brother, the Arc, has a carefully crafted baby-blue suede interior that reflects the brand’s commitment to beauty on the inside and out.
The designer places a strong emphasis on gradual, intentional fashion. According to Esha, her customers are “discerning and intentional.” For them, classic design, fine craftsmanship, and premium materials are more significant than fads.
Craftsmanship, Heritage, and Recognition
Each Esha Soni bag is more than just a luxury item; it shares a story of heritage and soul. Esha was born in Mumbai and studied design at FIT in New York. She also spent time in Florence, Italy, where she learned about craftsmanship and materials. Her brand mixes these experiences with simple, sculptural designs to create high-quality, wearable pieces.
Her approach gained recognition in the industry: in 2023, Esha was invited to join the Council of Fashion Designers of America, and she won the Fashion Trust U.S. Accessories Award, presented by Isabel Marant, in 2024.
