Dakota Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly have fueled fresh romance speculation after spending much of Friday, October 23, together in Los Angeles, from a morning visit to a recording studio to a late-night outing at the Chateau Marmont.

The actress, 37, and the musician, 36, whose real name is Colson Baker, were photographed leaving a Los Angeles music studio together before being spotted again later that evening.

According to Page Six, the pair left the Chateau Marmont around 11:30 p.m. and were photographed sitting next to each other in the back of a vehicle.

Their latest appearances add to growing speculation about a relationship that first attracted attention in September. Neither Johnson nor Kelly has publicly confirmed that they are dating.

During Friday’s daytime outing, Johnson wore blue jeans, a long black leather coat and black flats, with a gray sweater resting across her shoulders. Kelly opted for a matching denim jacket and trousers, paired with a white tank top and brown boots.

The musician was also photographed helping Johnson into his car.

By the time they were seen leaving the Chateau Marmont that night, both appeared to be wearing their earlier outfits, although Kelly had removed his denim jacket.

The sightings follow another recent encounter in Los Angeles that raised questions about the nature of their relationship.

Last week, media reports published photographs and videos showing Johnson and Kelly meeting outside a recording studio before leaving together in his Maserati.

The vehicle was subsequently photographed parked outside Johnson’s home the following morning, prompting speculation that Kelly had spent the night there. However, an overnight stay was not independently confirmed.

Rumors about the two celebrities first emerged in September, when they were photographed arriving together at Taylor Swift’s Tribeca apartment in New York City.

Sources say that Johnson and Kelly had chosen the property because they wanted privacy. Swift was reportedly not at the apartment during their visit.

The same insider suggested there was mutual interest between the actress and the musician, although the relationship was still in its early stages.

“It’s new and they’re just getting to know each other, but there was definitely something there, and he would like to see her again,” the source told Page Six.

The rumored relationship comes after changes in both celebrities’ personal lives.

News of Johnson’s separation from singer Role Model emerged a little over two months before the latest Los Angeles sightings. Kelly, meanwhile, ended his relationship with actress Megan Fox in 2024.

Kelly and Fox, who were previously engaged, share a daughter, Saga Blade Fox-Baker.

Another insider offered a similar account to Page Six on Friday, suggesting Fox was pleased Kelly appeared to be moving forward.

“Megan isn’t just unbothered by MGK dating Dakota,” the source said, adding that she was “actually relieved he’s moving on.”

Despite the repeated public sightings and comments from unnamed sources, the precise status of Johnson and Kelly’s relationship remains unclear.

Their latest appearances in Los Angeles nevertheless mark another development in a series of encounters that have kept their rumored romance in the spotlight.
