The/Nudge Foundation has inaugurated thespark-Pullur Centre*, a purpose-built co-working and community space designed to bring India’s social entrepreneurs, funders and ecosystem leaders into more regular, sustained collaboration.

The centre was inaugurated on February 14, 2026, with The/Nudge describing it as a first-of-its-kind 20,000 sq ft facility built specifically for the social impact sector.

Pullur Centre: A new “commons” for the impact ecosystem

At the heart of the centre is a 140-seat co-working space called Venture Commons, along with a configurable event venue, Dialogues Arena, that can host up to 150 people. The idea, according to the foundation, is to create a neutral, shared base where relationships can deepen beyond one-off meetings and where collaborations can form over time.

The launch event itself reflected that ambition: the foundation said it brought together 150+ attendees, including social entrepreneurs, funders, corporate CSR leaders, philanthropists, start-up leaders and other enablers from across India’s social impact sectors.

Backed by the Pullur family; built with Total Environment

The centre is supported by founding patrons Vijay Pullur and Nirmala Pullur, noted as the wife of the late Jay Pullur (the Pullur brothers are referenced as founders of Pramati Software). The facility has been built in partnership with Bengaluru real estate developer Total Environment and is located on the fifth floor of “Pursuit of a Radical Rhapsody” in Whitefield, Bengaluru.

What the space is trying to fix: fragmentation

The release positions the centre as a response to a familiar problem in social innovation: plenty of ideas and growing pools of philanthropic capital, but collaboration that often remains fragmented and episodic. In that framing, thespark | Pullur Centre* is meant to become a place where ideas, capital and talent intersect more regularly, helping promising innovations move toward scalable, systemic solutions.

Design: built for longer stays, not quick drop-ins

The centre also leans into “green” and sustainable design cues: a biophilic layout, landscaped balconies, natural light and flexible, community-driven work areas intended to encourage longer presence and repeat interaction.

Voices from the launch

In a statement, Vijay Pullur linked the centre’s purpose to the less-visible work of building solutions, iteration, debate and learning over time, rather than just ideation. Total Environment founder Kamal Sagar spoke about designing spaces that build trust and connection, while Saurabh Nigam (ProGrowth People Solutions) highlighted how shared spaces can help founders access support systems such as talent and specialised expertise more early and more often.

The/Nudge describes the Pullur Centre as the first node in what it envisions as a broader, nationwide network of “impact hubs.”
