Delhivery has elevated Prashant Gazipur to the role of Chief Operating Officer, marking a key leadership move within the logistics company’s operations function.

Gazipur announced the development through a LinkedIn post, where he said he would now lead Delhivery’s in-city operations, manage the company’s capacity ecosystem, and build its franchisee business to drive direct sales.

Before this elevation, Gazipur served as Senior Vice President, Operations at Delhivery. He joined the company in July 2024.

In his announcement, Gazipur credited his team and colleagues for the milestone, saying their support, collaboration, and constant push to improve had played a major role in his journey.

His new mandate suggests a sharper focus on execution-heavy areas of Delhivery’s business. In-city logistics, capacity management, and franchisee-led direct sales are all operationally critical functions for a company working across India’s fast-moving logistics and delivery ecosystem.

Gazipur brings prior experience from Ecom Express and Paytm, adding to his background in operations and consumer-facing logistics-linked businesses.

It is being seen in light of the growing importance of people movement in India’s logistics, e-commerce, and supply chain sectors, more particularly after companies have realized the need for efficient leadership in their operations.
