Mother Dairy reported a remarkable turnaround in FY24, achieving a net profit of ₹106 crore compared to a ₹133 crore loss in FY23. This recovery is largely attributed to low procurement costs and strong performance across key product categories, including ice cream.
Ice cream sales surged past ₹500 crore, reflecting growing consumer demand and the company’s strategic focus on expanding this category. With milk and milk products contributing 72.47% of overall revenue, the ice cream segment continues to grow as a vital part of the portfolio.

The company integrated its milk and dairy products unit during the fiscal year, leveraging synergies to enhance operations. This move also supported growth across its value-added product range. Alongside ice cream, products like curd and cow milk saw significant growth, with sales increasing by 22% and 15% respectively.
