Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have only recently gone up for pre-order, but delivery dates are already beginning to move further out in India and the United States.
Customers who placed their orders early are still expected to receive their phones around September 18. For anyone ordering now, though, the wait could be considerably longer, especially for the iPhone 18 Pro Max. Apple’s online store is showing delivery estimates that now run into October in both markets.
In India, the iPhone 18 Pro is currently showing an estimated delivery window of September 29 to October 6. The Pro Max is taking longer, with deliveries listed between October 6 and October 11.
The picture is much the same in the US. Orders for the iPhone 18 Pro are showing an estimated arrival between September 29 and October 6, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max is listed for delivery between October 6 and October 13.
That leaves the Pro Max with the longer wait in both countries. Buyers looking at the smaller Pro still have a chance of getting the phone before October, although some orders could also spill into the first week of the month.
The pricing gap between the two models remains sizeable in India. The iPhone 18 Pro starts at Rs 1,64,900, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,79,900. Both are available in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB storage options.
Apple is also offering the two models in Burgundy, Glacier, Silver and Black.
For buyers who do not want to wait until October, checking stock at physical stores or authorised sellers could be worth considering before placing an online order. Apple’s delivery estimate can also depend on the configuration selected, so the final date shown at checkout is the one that matters most.
The longer timelines are most noticeable on the iPhone 18 Pro Max, where fresh orders in both India and the US are now entirely within an October delivery window. The regular Pro is still arriving earlier, but even there, the initial delivery slots have clearly started to fill up.
