Leaks surrounding Grand Theft Auto 6 have revealed new details about the game’s music, radio stations and gameplay, while publisher Take-Two Interactive has taken legal steps to identify those allegedly responsible for distributing the material.
The latest leaks, attributed to the group CyberLeek, include a 25-song soundtrack list, gameplay footage and details about several in-game systems. The leaked music appears to combine songs already heard in official trailers with tracks that have not yet been publicly announced.
A Soundtrack Spanning Multiple Musical Eras
The leaked 25-song list features six tracks that were previously confirmed through official GTA 6 trailers. These include Tom Petty’s “Love Is a Long Road” and Wang Chung’s “Everybody Have Fun Tonight.”
The remaining songs reportedly cover a wide range of styles, including 1980s pop, modern hip-hop, Latin pop, trap and electronic music. The selection points to a broad musical mix designed to complement the different environments featured in the game.
Music has traditionally played an important role in the Grand Theft Auto series, helping establish the atmosphere of its fictional cities and surrounding areas. The leaked lineup appears to continue that approach, combining older tracks with more contemporary sounds.
Familiar Stations Meet New Radio Formats
Gameplay clips have also revealed several radio stations and music options expected to appear in GTA 6. Among the stations shown are Circoloco Records Radio, V-Rock, Back Country Radio and Symphony FM.
An “On-Demand” option was also visible in the leaked radio interface, suggesting that players may have another way to select music while playing.
Several songs were reportedly heard during vehicle gameplay, including Róisín Murphy’s “Overpowered,” SG Lewis and Robyn’s “Impact,” and Glen Campbell’s “Rhinestone Cowboy.”
The appearance of V-Rock alongside new stations could also connect the upcoming game with the musical identity associated with earlier Grand Theft Auto titles. At the same time, the additional formats indicate that Rockstar is expanding the way music may be presented across the game.
CyberLeek Continues Its Leak Campaign
The latest soundtrack information follows a series of gameplay leaks released by CyberLeek. The group has shared clips showing protagonist Jason in different situations, including flying aircraft over Vice City and visiting a nudist colony.
CyberLeek has claimed that it possesses a playable build of the game. It has also used fan polls and cryptocurrency to monetise some of its leak releases and has called for real-world protests.
The group has said its campaign is linked to opposition to GTA 6 being released as a digital-only title. However, its activities have also generated financial returns through its leak operation.
The leaked material reportedly extends beyond music and gameplay footage, with map information and details about new gameplay systems also among the material circulated online.
Take-Two Seeks Information on Those Behind the Leaks
The continuing leaks have prompted legal action from Take-Two Interactive. The company has filed subpoenas in US federal courts seeking user information from Microsoft and Discord that could help identify people connected to the distribution of the leaked material.
Take-Two is treating the leaked content as stolen copyrighted material, adding a legal dimension to the ongoing situation.
The leaks have also reportedly created frustration inside Rockstar Games. Previous security improvements have not prevented new material from appearing online, increasing pressure around the protection of GTA 6 ahead of its official marketing and gameplay rollout.
Official Reveal Could Shift the Conversation
The leaks have generated speculation across the Grand Theft Auto community, including claims that the releases could somehow be part of a marketing strategy. However, that theory has largely been rejected by community members.
For Rockstar, the upcoming official gameplay reveal could provide an opportunity to take back control of the conversation around GTA 6. Until then, the leaked soundtrack, radio stations and gameplay clips continue to offer unofficial glimpses of one of the most anticipated games in development.
