Apple iPhone Duo Price: How Much Will the Foldable iPhone Cost?
Apple has announced a leasing option for the iPhone Duo starting at $57.99 per month through Apple Upgrade, provided by Klarna.
The advertised starting payment applies to a 24-month consumer lease and excludes taxes and any trade-in credit. Apple also offers a 12-month leasing option.
However, the $57.99 figure should not be confused with the iPhone Duo’s full purchase price. A lease does not automatically give the customer ownership of the device.
At the end of the lease, eligible customers can choose to upgrade to a newer iPhone, purchase their existing device through a one-time payment or return it and leave the programme. Additional eligibility and lease conditions apply.

Apple iPhone Duo Trade-In Offers and Payment Options
Apple has outlined several ways eligible customers in the US can reduce the cost of upgrading to the iPhone Duo.
Through Apple Trade In, customers exchanging an eligible iPhone 13 or newer model can receive an instant credit ranging from $175 to $885. The final amount depends on the device’s condition, model year and configuration.
Separate carrier promotions can offer up to $1,200 in credit when customers trade in an eligible iPhone 14 Pro Max or newer model. Apple has named AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon among its carrier partners.
These carrier benefits come with specific eligibility requirements, qualifying plans and payment conditions. In some cases, the credits are spread across monthly bills rather than being provided as an immediate discount.
US customers eligible for Apple Card Monthly Installments can also choose a 0 percent APR payment plan and receive 3 percent Daily Cash when purchasing through Apple under the programme’s terms.
What Makes the Apple iPhone Duo Different?
iPhone Duo is its foldable design. Apple says the device has the largest display ever fitted to an iPhone, while also being its thinnest iPhone when unfolded.
The inner screen measures 7.58 inches diagonally, giving users a larger area for watching videos, browsing, gaming and working across apps.
When folded, the phone has an outer display measuring approximately 5.4 inches diagonally. Apple says this screen provides 90 percent of the screen area of the iPhone 18 Pro, keeping the device practical for everyday use without opening it.
The company has also developed a precision-engineered hinge intended to deliver a smooth folding experience.
The difference is not limited to screen size. The iPhone Duo runs iOS 27, which adapts to the phone’s changing orientation and folded position. Users can move between displays and use Split View to work with apps side by side.
The device also supports StandBy on both the inner and outer displays, even when it is not charging.

Apple iPhone Duo Specifications: A20 Pro Chip, Cameras and Battery
The iPhone Duo runs on Apple’s A20 Pro chip and uses a dual-battery architecture designed to provide all-day battery life.
Its camera system includes a 48MP Fusion Main camera with an integrated optical-quality 2x Telephoto option and a separate 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide camera with macro photography support.
For selfies and video calls, Apple has included a Center Stage front camera that can capture photos and videos in different orientations. There is also a FaceTime camera beneath the inner display, making it possible to take calls when the device is unfolded or propped up on a surface.
The phone carries an IP68 rating for splash, water and dust resistance under specified laboratory conditions. Apple says resistance can decrease with normal wear.

Apple iPhone Duo Gets Siri AI With iOS 27
Another major addition is Siri AI, Apple’s redesigned assistant powered by Apple Intelligence.
The new version of Siri is intended to understand personal context, recognise information displayed on the screen and respond more conversationally.
On the iPhone Duo’s expanded inner display, users can keep Siri open alongside another app and ask questions about the content they are viewing.
Apple has also introduced a Siri mode in Camera, allowing users to request information or take actions related to what the camera sees.
Siri AI is rolling out in beta with iOS 27, initially in English. Apple has made clear that feature availability will depend on language and region, with some AI capabilities subject to usage limits.
Apple iPhone Duo Accessories and Protection Plans
Apple is introducing two accessories designed specifically for the foldable iPhone.
The iPhone Duo Folio, available in navy blue and taupe, includes an integrated kickstand that can hold the device at different viewing angles. It is intended for activities such as reading, watching videos and hands-free FaceTime calls.
The iPhone Duo Case comes in sand and navy blue. It uses a lightweight, two-part design that covers both sides of the device.
Both accessories support MagSafe, Qi2 25W and Qi-certified chargers.
Customers in eligible markets can also choose AppleCare protection options, including AppleCare+ and AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss. Availability and coverage conditions vary by region.
Apple is additionally offering three months of Apple One free to new and qualifying returning subscribers who purchase an iPhone Duo, subject to the promotion’s terms.
