Toy manufacturing startup Bidso has raised ₹63 crore in a Series A funding round, giving a clear signal of investor confidence in India’s growing manufacturing space. The round includes ₹51 crore in equity and ₹12 crore in venture debt, providing the company with both growth capital and financial flexibility.
The funding was led by Blume Ventures, with continued support from Peer Capital and Sadev Capital. Alteria Capital contributed the debt portion of the round. For a company founded just a few years ago, this marks an important milestone as it looks to scale up its operations.
Not Just Manufacturing, But End-to-End Solutions
Founded in 2022, Bidso is not a traditional toy manufacturer. Instead, it positions itself as a full-stack partner for brands. The company handles everything from product design and development to final manufacturing.
Its current range includes everyday children’s products such as tricycles, baby walkers, scooters, and ride-on toys. By managing the entire process under one roof, Bidso allows brands to focus on marketing and distribution while it takes care of production.

Growing Presence Across India
Bidso has already built a multi-location manufacturing network. Its units are spread across regions like the National Capital Region, Goa, Rajkot, and Puducherry. In total, the company operates six facilities with a combined capacity of about 100,000 units per month.
This distributed setup gives Bidso an advantage. It allows faster production cycles and reduces dependency on a single location, which is especially important in today’s uncertain supply chain environment.
A Smart Model That Keeps Costs in Check
One of the more interesting aspects of Bidso’s business is how it expands. Instead of owning all its factories, the company follows a franchise-owned, company-operated model. In simple terms, partners own the manufacturing units while Bidso runs them.
This approach helps the company grow quickly without needing heavy capital investment in infrastructure. At the same time, it ensures that operations remain standardized and efficient across all locations.
Adding Value Through Licensed Products
Beyond manufacturing, Bidso is also tapping into licensed products. The company has secured rights to produce toys based on well-known global brands and characters. This allows it to move into higher-value segments where brand recognition plays a big role.
Licensed toys often attract more attention from customers and can offer better margins compared to unbranded products. For Bidso, this adds another layer to its business model.
Timing That Works in Its Favor
Bidso’s growth comes at a time when global supply chains are undergoing a shift. Many companies are looking to reduce dependence on a single manufacturing destination and are exploring alternatives.
India has been gaining attention in this space, supported by policy changes and rising domestic demand. The toy sector, in particular, has seen steady momentum, creating opportunities for new players to step in and scale quickly.
What the Company Plans Next
With the fresh funding in place, Bidso is preparing for its next phase of growth. The company plans to expand its manufacturing capacity, invest in better design and engineering capabilities, and widen its product portfolio.
It is also looking to strengthen its team across operations, design, and sales as it grows. In addition to expanding within the toy segment, Bidso is exploring opportunities in related categories such as household products and small appliances.
A Small Startup with Bigger Ambitions
Bidso’s journey so far reflects a broader shift in India’s manufacturing landscape. By combining design, production, and licensing under one platform, the company is trying to build something more than just a factory network.
Its model focuses on flexibility, scalability, and partnerships, which are becoming increasingly important in modern manufacturing. As global demand patterns evolve, companies like Bidso could play a key role in shaping how products are made and delivered from India.
For now, this funding round gives Bidso the resources it needs to move faster. What it does next will determine how big a role it can play in the country’s manufacturing story.
