Doodhvale Farms has raised $1 million from existing investor Atomic Capital Fund I, adding fresh capital as the direct-to-consumer dairy and daily essentials brand looks to expand its market presence and deepen distribution in the cities it already serves.

The latest round comes after the company’s $3 million Series A fundraise in November 2024. The new capital will be used for market expansion, wider distribution in existing locations, product expansion, and investments in AI and technology to improve demand forecasting and route planning.

Founded in 2019 by Sudhir Jain, Aman J Jain, Ishu Jain and Sanjay Jain, Doodhvale Farms operates as a vertically integrated dairy and daily essentials business, delivering products directly to consumers. The company currently serves customers across Delhi-NCR, Ambala, Karnal and Meerut. Alongside its core dairy range, it also ships products such as ghee and wood-pressed oils.

The fundraise comes at a time when Doodhvale’s direct-to-consumer business has been growing steadily. The company says its D2C business nearly doubled over the past year, while overall revenue grew around 65%. D2C sales now make up nearly 90% of its business, and value-added products contribute about 35% of total revenue.

Doodhvale has also been widening its product basket beyond milk and dairy. Its newer categories include protein-focused offerings and daily staples such as atta and wood-pressed oils, a move that positions the company closer to a daily household consumption brand than a milk-only player.

Over the next 12 to 18 months, Doodhvale Farms plans to enter more cities, strengthen operations in its current markets, and more than double its business.

For Doodhvale, the next phase will likely depend on how efficiently it can scale a perishable, route-heavy business while keeping product quality and delivery reliability intact. Its focus on demand forecasting and route optimisation suggests that the company is not only chasing new markets, but also trying to make its backend sharper before taking on larger volumes.
