New Delhi-based kitchen and lifestyle brand Cüraa has raised Rs 40 crore in a Series A funding round led by 3one4 Capital. Existing investors Kae Capital, Lumikai, and Better Capital also participated in the round. ValueBridge Capital, a Merisis company, advised Cüraa on the transaction.
Fresh Funding to Drive Cüraa’s Next Phase of Growth
Cüraa plans to use the newly raised capital to broaden its product portfolio across pre-cook and cooking categories. The company will also invest in its warehousing and supply chain infrastructure as it looks to strengthen operations and expand its reach across direct-to-consumer, online marketplaces, and quick-commerce platforms.
Part of the funding will also be used to build the company’s leadership team, with plans to hire senior executives across key functions.
Founded in 2024 by chef and content creator Sanjyot Keer and entrepreneur Neeraj Kumawat, Cüraa develops kitchen appliances and tools focused on the needs of Indian consumers and cooking habits.
From Launch to More Than Three Lakh Households
Cüraa launched in September 2024 and said it has since served more than three lakh households. The company has also reported significant growth in its monthly net revenue, which has increased 25 times since launch.
The brand currently adds around 25,000 to 30,000 customers each month, highlighting the growing scale of its business across digital and quick-commerce channels.
Cüraa sells its products through its own website as well as platforms including Amazon, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart. Amazon currently contributes the largest share of the company’s sales.
Building an India-First Kitchen Brand
Cüraa follows an India-first manufacturing approach, with most of the value addition taking place domestically. The company also sources certain components from overseas to manage costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
The latest investment is expected to support the company as it works to expand its range of kitchen products and reach more households across the country.
Sanjyot Keer, who also runs food content platform Your Food Lab, said the funding would help the company accelerate its vision of enabling more Indian households to cook better.
Kumawat said the new capital will support Cüraa’s efforts across product development, supply chain, customer experience, and distribution as the business scales.
Expanding Reach While Strengthening Operations
Cüraa is also associated with entrepreneur and content creator Raj Shamani as a strategic adviser. His role includes supporting consumer reach, brand amplification, and strategy.
Going forward, Cüraa plans to focus on expanding its product portfolio while strengthening its operational capabilities. The company has identified quality, product availability, and customer service as key areas as it continues to scale its presence across D2C, marketplaces, and quick commerce.
With the new Series A funding, Cüraa is looking to build on the growth it has achieved since its launch and further establish its position in India’s kitchen and lifestyle products market.
