Guangzhou-based AI marketing company Tec-Do has completed a new funding round led by Huatai-General Atlantic, drawing demand that exceeded the shares available and closing the process in just two months.

Tec-Do has raised fresh capital in a funding round led by Huatai-General Atlantic, with Kunpeng Guangyuan, GAC Capital, GSR Ventures and other institutions participating.

The size of the round was not disclosed in the announcement.

What makes the transaction stand out is the speed and demand around it. The fundraising process moved from launch to completion in two months, while investor interest exceeded the available allocation. Some institutions were ultimately unable to secure a stake.

For Tec-Do, the new backing comes as the company pushes deeper into AI-led global marketing and prepares for a public-market move in Hong Kong.

A funding round built around AI marketing

Founded by Li Shuhao, Tec-Do focuses on using artificial intelligence to help companies market and grow internationally.

Li’s career began at Huawei before he joined UC, where he was involved in expanding UC in the international market. After Alibaba acquired UC in 2014, Li switched to international mobile business operations at Alibaba and continued with his work on expanding UC outside China. He left Alibaba in 2017 and ventured into entrepreneurship.

That background eventually shaped Tec-Do’s focus on performance-oriented AI tools for companies looking to reach customers outside their home markets.

The company has built its product offering around AI-powered marketing systems, including Navos, its marketing multi-agent platform. Navos 2.0 is designed to coordinate different models, tools and specialised agents according to an enterprise’s objectives, moving the technology beyond recommendations and towards executing marketing tasks.

Tec-Do’s technology has also been developed using practical data gathered from more than 100,000 advertisers worldwide. Its marketing knowledge base covers areas including user analysis, cross-cultural creative work, media strategy and risk management.

OpenAI and Apple Ads add another layer to the story

The funding arrives as Tec-Do expands its position across major global advertising and technology ecosystems.

The company became an Apple Ads partner in 2026, adding to earlier relationships across platforms including Google Ads, TikTok, Meta and Snap. Its operations now extend across more than 200 countries and regions, while its wider commercial ecosystem includes Meta, Google, TikTok and OpenAI.

In July, Tec-Do also became one of the first official technology partners for ChatGPT Ads globally. An initial customer test involving a cross-border brand produced an ROI that reached 2.5 times its earlier level while reducing marketing costs.

That development is particularly relevant to Tec-Do’s broader strategy. As AI interfaces become another channel through which consumers discover products and make purchasing decisions, the company is positioning its marketing technology around what it describes as agentic commerce.

Industrial investors could open new commercial routes

The investor mix also points to opportunities beyond financial backing.

Kunpeng Guangyuan said it sees opportunities in overseas expansion and plans to use its industrial resources to support collaboration between businesses in its ecosystem and Tec-Do.

GAC Capital, meanwhile, highlighted the potential to combine AI-driven marketing technology with automotive export scenarios. The investment firm said it intends to use its resources to help Tec-Do expand into higher-value vertical industries.

GSR Ventures, already an existing shareholder, also participated again in the round.

The combination gives Tec-Do a group of investors with interests spanning growth capital, industrial applications and venture investment at a time when the company is attempting to broaden the commercial use of its AI marketing products.

Hong Kong IPO remains the next major milestone

The fundraising also lands during Tec-Do’s preparations for a listing in Hong Kong.

The company submitted an IPO application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in February 2026, placing the latest financing round alongside a broader effort to move from privately backed expansion towards the public markets.

That timing gives the two-month funding process added significance. Tec-Do is raising institutional capital while simultaneously expanding its AI marketing platform, developing relationships with major global advertising ecosystems and pursuing a Hong Kong listing.

For now, the clearest signal from the latest transaction is not the undisclosed cheque size. It is the competition for allocation. With the round oversubscribed and some interested institutions unable to participate, Tec-Do has closed its latest financing with investor demand running ahead of the equity it was prepared to offer.
