Senior Hindi news journalist Sushant Sinha is likely to move on from Times Now Navbharat, where he currently serves as Consulting Editor and remains one of the channel’s key prime-time faces.

Sinha’s contract with the channel is scheduled to end on May 31, 2026, and he is not expected to renew it. He is also understood to be in advanced discussions with Network18 for his next move, though an official announcement has not been made yet.

A few members of his team may also accompany him if the move goes through. However, there has been no formal confirmation so far from Sinha or the management of the networks involved.

Sinha has built a strong identity in Hindi television news over nearly two decades. At Times Now Navbharat, he became closely associated with shows such as Pathshala and Rashtragarv. Before joining the channel, he had worked with India TV, NDTV India, News24 and India News.

If finalised, the move would mark another notable shift in Hindi TV news, where prime-time faces continue to play a major role in shaping channel recall, audience loyalty and political debate programming.
