Showroom B2B, an apparel sourcing and manufacturing company, has raised $17 million in a fresh funding round led by early-growth equity firm Cactus Partners, as the company looks to scale its platform and expand supply-chain operations.

The round includes both equity and debt, with Zephyr Peacock joining in alongside existing backers Jungle Ventures, Accion Ventures, and NBD Ventures.

Where the money will go?

Showroom B2B says the new capital will be used to:

  • Enhance and scale the platform
  • Expand its customer base and enter new market segments
  • Strengthen supply-chain infrastructure and execute strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency

Cofounder Abhishek Dua framed the plan in operational terms, more systems, more people, and stronger manufacturing depth. “We will continue investing in systems, people, and manufacturing capabilities that allow us to serve customers with greater speed, predictability, and operational depth,” he said.

What Showroom B2B does?

Founded in 2020 by Abhishek Dua and Shubham Gupta, Showroom B2B positions itself as a B2B platform serving retailers, brands, and buying houses across segments.

The company offers an end-to-end stack, design, manufacturing, and logistics and works across product categories including denim, T-shirts, kurtis, and kidswear.

Investor lens: value retail, D2C pull, and faster cycles

From the lead investor’s side, Amit Sharma, general partner at Cactus Partners, said the company targets the “burgeoning aspirational consumer segment,” with an emphasis on manufacturing and supply-chain optimisation for value retail players and, increasingly, D2C brands.

Mukul Gulati, managing partner at Zephyr Peacock, pointed to the operational advantage: the platform streamlines “manufacturing, product discovery, sampling, and order execution,” aiming to reduce time-to-market while optimising working capital.

Showroom B2B had previously raised $6.5 million in 2023 in a round led by Jungle Ventures, which helped build the base for its current scale and platform development.

The Significance

The bet is that technology-assisted execution of sampling faster, moving orders more cleanly, and sustaining supply more predictably will become a competitive differentiator within B2B apparel.

The emphasis of the company, at least as has been publicly revealed, appears to be less on glitzier growth and more on the unglamorized aspects of supply chain infrastructure, operational efficiency, as well as manufactured capacity, all of which dictate how well brands can restock on time without chaos.
