AI-native martech startup Fibr AI has raised $5.7 Mn (about INR 52 Cr) in a seed funding round led by Accel, with participation from WillowTree Ventures and MVP Ventures, along with other angel investors.

What the fresh capital is for?

Fibr says the new funding will go into strengthening its AI and product capabilities, expanding its customer base, and hiring across engineering, product, marketing, and sales.

What Fibr AI builds?

Founded in 2023 by Ankur Goyal and Pritam Roy, Fibr builds AI-powered marketing and web experience tools aimed at helping brands reduce customer acquisition costs (CAC) and improve conversion rates by making websites and landing pages more personalised and adaptive to user intent.

Two products are central to the pitch:

  • Pilot: helps clients create personalised landing pages for campaigns across channels like ads .
  • Blocks: helps marketers reuse and adapt existing content across formats, for example, turning a high-performing Facebook ad into a blog post or a Google search ad.

Over time, the company says it has expanded into what it calls an “agentic web experience layer”, a setup where businesses can respond to users online in real time based on context.

Customers and competition

Fibr is described as a Dover-based startup, primarily serving customers in North America, Canada and India . Since its beta launch, it says it has onboarded clients including ACT Fibernet and Star Health, among other D2C brands.

In the broader market, it competes with global martech players such as Instapage, Unbounce and Leadpages.

Funding so far

With this seed round, Fibr’s total funding has reached $7.5 Mn. That includes a $1.8 Mn pre-seed raised in July 2024, also led by Accel, with participation from 2AM VC and angels including Kunal Shah (CRED) and Sunil Kumar (former Zenoti cofounder).

Why this round fits the moment

Fibr’s “agentic” positioning lands at a time when agentic AI is moving from experimentation to real-world adoption, as organisations deploy AI agents that can act autonomously, respond to context, and execute multi-step workflows.

As per reports, Indian AI startups have raised over $1.8 Bn since 2020, and nearly 86% of that funding has gone to the application layer, reflecting investor preference for applied AI businesses over pure infrastructure plays.

Fibr is betting that the next big conversion lever won’t be just “better landing pages,” but web experiences that adapt on the fly, personalised, contextual, and increasingly automated, while investors continue to show appetite for application-layer AI in India and beyond.
