Bengaluru-based energy startup Arkahub has raised $2 million in a seed funding round led by Kae Capital, with participation from Sparrow Capital and Antler. The funding marks a key step for the company as it builds a consumer-focused platform aimed at simplifying home energy adoption in India, starting with rooftop solar.
Capital Infusion to Accelerate Platform Development
The newly raised funds will be used to develop Arkahub’s home energy platform, with an initial focus on residential rooftop solar solutions. The company is working to address long-standing pain points in the segment by offering a more streamlined, standardized, and consumer-friendly experience for homeowners.
Arkahub aims to move away from the fragmented, project-based nature of residential solar installations and instead introduce product-led solutions designed for consistency, transparency, and long-term reliability.

Founders Bring Strong Consumer and Operations Experience
Arkahub was founded by Manish Pansari and Kaustabh Chakraborty, both of whom bring experience from established consumer and consulting-led companies. Pansari has previously worked with Myntra and Kearney, while Chakraborty has held roles at Urban Ladder and Wakefit.
Their combined background in consumer brands, operations, and large-scale execution influences Arkahub’s approach to building standardized offerings and a strong consumer-facing energy brand.
Rethinking How Households Own Energy Systems
Positioning itself as a full-stack home energy company, Arkahub is focused on simplifying residential energy ownership. The startup is building solutions that prioritize long-term system performance and lifecycle management rather than one-time installations.
By treating rooftop solar as a household product instead of a custom infrastructure project, Arkahub aims to improve trust, predictability, and adoption among homeowners.
Targeting a Large Yet Underpenetrated Market
India has an estimated rooftop solar potential of around 500 GW, but current adoption remains below 1%. This gap highlights the challenges consumers face in understanding, installing, and maintaining rooftop solar systems.
Arkahub is targeting this opportunity by building a consumer brand that emphasizes ease of ownership, clarity, and integration. The company believes that simplifying the customer journey is critical to unlocking large-scale residential adoption.
End-to-End Coverage Across the Energy Lifecycle
Arkahub’s platform is designed to manage the complete lifecycle of a home energy system. This includes digital system design, professional installation, proactive performance monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
By integrating these services into a single platform, the company aims to reduce system downtime, improve efficiency, and ensure consistent performance over time. Lifecycle management remains a core part of Arkahub’s strategy to position home energy systems as long-term household assets.
Building Toward a Broader Home Energy Ecosystem
While rooftop solar is the company’s entry point, Arkahub plans to expand into a broader home energy ecosystem. Over time, the platform is expected to support energy generation, storage, and management through a unified interface.
With fresh funding and a clear consumer-led strategy, Arkahub is working to build an integrated home energy platform designed to make residential energy ownership simpler, more reliable, and more accessible across India.
