Sirius India Airlines plans to raise $100 million to expand its fleet and services. The company aims to increase its fleet to 50 private jets by 2027 and enter markets like the Far East, Southeast Asia, and East Africa.
Sirius India airlines expands fleet and operations
Sirius India Airlines, based in Gurugram, launched its air charter services in August 2024 in partnership with Dubai’s Transworld Group. The company has seen high demand from various segments, including corporate and luxury travel. To meet this demand, it plans to expand its fleet and strengthen its position in the domestic market.
Founder Arun Kashyap, who previously worked with Air India and SpiceJet, shared that the company plans to secure funding by March 2025. The company will raise funds through a mix of debt and investments. Discussions with lenders and investors are already underway. The funds will help the company acquire more aircraft and expand into international markets.
Strengthening domestic market presence
Sirius India Airlines operates three luxury jets in India and the Middle East. The company plans to add 10 more aircraft next fiscal year. By March 2028, Sirius India aims to grow its fleet to 50 jets, including small, medium, and larger aircraft that can handle group charter flights.
The company also aims to expand in western and southern India, where demand for chartered air services is increasing. This move will help meet the rising needs of corporate and lifestyle travelers.
Expanding into new international markets
Sirius India Airlines is looking to expand into international markets in Southeast Asia, the Far East, and East Africa. Its strategic partnership with Airavat Aviation, a luxury private air travel brand, will help facilitate this global growth. Airavat Aviation already has a strong presence in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
With its fleet expansion and global outreach, Sirius India Airlines is set to become a leading player in the air charter services industry.
