iPhone 18 Pro Price Leak: Fresh pricing leaks from Egypt and Australia are beginning to narrow the range for Apple’s upcoming iPhone Ultra, while separate estimates suggest the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max could see smaller increases than some earlier forecasts had indicated.

Apple’s next iPhone launch is approaching with one major question still unresolved: how much its new premium models will cost.

Recent pricing claims from multiple markets are now offering the clearest indication yet of where the foldable iPhone Ultra could sit. Rather than supporting the most aggressive predictions of a $2,500 starting price in the US, the figures point toward a price closer to the lower end of the previously discussed $2,000 to $2,500 range.

The more revealing part of the leaks is not the direct currency conversion. It is the premium Apple may be preparing to charge over the existing iPhone 17 Pro.

Egypt leak suggests a roughly 75% premium

Vodafone Egypt briefly listed the iPhone Ultra with a starting price of 155,750 Egyptian pounds, according to the report. The iPhone 17 Pro is currently listed there at 88,799 Egyptian pounds.

That puts the alleged foldable at roughly 75% above the iPhone 17 Pro in the Egyptian market.

The direct conversion from the Egyptian price would be over $3,000; however, such an estimate is not so useful in gauging the strategy of Apple in the US since regional prices may vary greatly. It makes more sense to compare the difference in percentages between the current flagship and the rumored Ultra prices.

Australia tells a similar story.

A separate leak attributed to Vodafone Australia and shared by @ev_downunder on X claims the iPhone Ultra will start at A$3,699. The iPhone 17 Pro starts at A$1,999 in Australia, putting the claimed Ultra price about 85% higher.

Taken together, the two leaks create a notable pattern. In two different markets, the foldable is being positioned at roughly three-quarters to nearly double the price of the iPhone 17 Pro.

If Apple followed an increase of around 80% in the US, that would point to a starting price near $1,999. The report also cites an estimate from research firm TrendForce that places the foldable’s minimum price slightly higher, at $2,099.

Neither figure is official, but the emerging range is considerably tighter than earlier speculation stretching as high as $2,500.

iPhone 18 Pro pricing may be less dramatic

The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max could also become more expensive, although the latest claims suggest a more measured increase.

An Egyptian pricing leak puts the two phones at 98,000 and 105,000 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Compared with the previous generation, that would amount to an increase of about 10% for the iPhone 18 Pro and 11% for the Pro Max in Egypt.

If a similar percentage increase were applied in the US, the change could translate to roughly a $100 bump.

TrendForce’s estimate is higher, suggesting an increase of between $149 and $200 for both Pro models. Even that would remain below earlier projections that had pointed to increases of as much as $300.

Under the more modest $100 scenario, the iPhone 18 Pro Max would begin at $1,299, matching the cited starting price of Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra.

That would make Apple’s pricing decision particularly important this year. The company is not only preparing its next Pro generation, but also potentially introducing a new top tier above it with the iPhone Ultra.

The foldable price is becoming the bigger question

At around $2,000 or more, the iPhone Ultra would enter a part of the smartphone market where buyers already have several foldable alternatives.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 at $1,899 for the 256GB version, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra at $2,099, the Motorola Razr Fold at $1,899 and the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold at $1,799.

That makes the Ultra’s final price more than a simple launch-day detail. It will define how aggressively Apple intends to position its first foldable against an established group of devices already clustered around the $1,800 to $2,100 mark.

The most consistent signal comes from the relative pricing in Egypt and Australia. Both leaks suggest Apple could place the iPhone Ultra at a substantial premium of roughly 75% to 85% over the iPhone 17 Pro, while the iPhone 18 Pro line may see a comparatively restrained increase.
