A familiar fast-food name from the Grand Theft Auto universe is preparing to make an appearance in the real world, with Burger Shot reportedly coming to Miami’s Kaseya Center ahead of the launch of GTA 6.

The fictional restaurant, known for its exaggerated take on American fast food, is part of Rockstar Games’ expanding promotional campaign in Miami. The arena, home to the Miami Heat, is becoming a major part of the game’s marketing activity as the November release approaches.

The latest development emerged after a fan shared images and information about the Burger Shot setup on X, drawing attention from Grand Theft Auto community accounts.

Burger Shot Brings a Piece of GTA to Miami

Burger Shot is one of the recognisable fictional fast-food chains in the Grand Theft Auto series. The restaurant parodies major fast-food brands through its branding, menu and deliberately excessive food offerings.

Its appearance at the Kaseya Center gives fans a chance to encounter a familiar element of the game outside the virtual world. However, details about the setup remain limited, and it is not yet clear whether visitors will be able to order food from a dedicated Burger Shot menu or whether the restaurant branding will serve primarily as a decorative installation.

The fictional chain is known for outrageous creations, including the Heartstopper, a burger featuring seven patties stacked with multiple toppings. Whether any menu items inspired by the game will appear at the Miami venue remains unconfirmed.

For now, the real-life appearance of Burger Shot adds another recognisable GTA reference to the city’s growing collection of promotional activities.

Miami Heat to Become Vice City Heat for One Night

Burger Shot is not the only planned attraction at the Kaseya Center. Rockstar Games is also preparing a special collaboration with the Miami Heat that will bring the world of GTA 6 into a regular-season basketball game.

On November 18, the team is scheduled to play under the name Vice City Heat for one night, with specially designed jerseys and a court themed around the upcoming game.

The event draws on the connection between Miami and Vice City, the fictional setting inspired by the Florida city. That connection has long been central to the Grand Theft Auto franchise, making Miami a natural location for an extensive promotional campaign ahead of the new instalment.

The timing also places the basketball event just one day before the game’s scheduled release, giving Rockstar another opportunity to build anticipation among fans.

A $975,000 Vice City Sign Adds to the Campaign

Rockstar’s promotional activity in Miami has extended beyond the arena’s interior. A neon sign reading “Welcome to Vice City” has appeared on top of the Kaseya Center, with its reported cost reaching $975,000.

Fans have also spotted GTA-branded sports cars driving around Miami alongside camera crews. The sightings have fuelled speculation that Rockstar is preparing a live-action advertising production, although the exact nature of the filming has not been confirmed.

The Burger Shot installation, themed basketball game, neon sign and branded vehicles point to a campaign that brings the game’s fictional identity into recognisable real-world locations.

Another reported part of the promotion involves beer brands featured in GTA 6. These are expected to appear at bars in Miami, although the availability of those products outside Florida, including through retail stores or online channels, remains unclear.

GTA 6 Release Date and Platforms

Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC release has been rumoured for early next year, but no confirmed PC launch date has been provided in the information available.

With the release approaching, Miami’s promotional activity is giving fans more opportunities to spot references to the fictional world before they return to it in the game.

Burger Shot’s appearance at the Kaseya Center is a particularly fitting addition. Rather than introducing an entirely new marketing concept, it takes an established part of the Grand Theft Auto universe and places it in a real location closely associated with the city that inspired Vice City.
