Great Learning sees 43% surge in job postings in Q2

Great Learning sees a 43% surge in job postings on its career platform, GL Excelerate, during Q2. This growth reflects a steady recovery in hiring trends, particularly in tech and data-driven sectors. The rise highlights the platform’s effectiveness in bridging talent gaps and aligning with industry demands.

Why Great Learning sees 43% surge

The platform’s robust performance is rooted in the increasing demand for technology roles. Over 67% of the job postings during Q2 were for positions in data analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity. This indicates that companies are prioritising technical skills and data-driven decision-making to enhance their capabilities.

“The trends observed on GL Excelerate highlight the industry’s focus on emerging technologies and the need for skilled professionals,” said Hari Krishnan Nair, cofounder of Great Learning.

Fresh talent behind the 43% surge in Great Learning

A key driver for the surge has been the demand for early-career professionals. Roles for candidates with 0-3 years of experience made up 59% of the postings, while mid-level roles (3-7 years) accounted for 35%. Industries such as IT/ITES, BFSI, and consulting were the primary contributors to this growth.

Top locations contributing to the surge

Great Learning sees a 43% surge in job postings primarily concentrated in major cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Chennai, and Mumbai. These cities serve as hubs for India’s expanding Global Capability Centers (GCCs), further boosting hiring activity.

Upskilling fuels Great Learning’s growth

The 43% surge reflects a rising emphasis on upskilling to meet market demands. With courses in data science, machine learning, cloud computing, and digital marketing, Great Learning equips professionals with the tools needed to excel in high-demand fields.

Great Learning drives the future of hiring

The 43% surge in job postings on Great Learning’s platform not only highlights a robust recovery in hiring trends but also underscores the platform’s critical role in meeting industry demands. By focusing on emerging technologies and equipping professionals with future-ready skills, Great Learning continues to bridge the gap between employers and talent, paving the way for a tech-driven workforce and sustainable career growth in India.
