CapitaLand announces ₹450 crore mega IT park project in Hyderabad

CapitaLand Group, a top real estate firm from Singapore, has said it will put ₹450 crore into a new IT park in Hyderabad. The site will cover about 1 million square feet and have the latest tech needed for global firms.

High-level talks in Singapore

This news came after a big meeting in Singapore with Telangana’s Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, IT Minister D Sridhar Babu, key officials, and CapitaLand leaders, like Gauri Shankar Nagabhushanam, the CEO of CapitaLand India Trust Management.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the investment is a big deal that boosts Hyderabad’s name as a hot spot for tech and business.

Meeting global firm needs

The new IT park is part of CapitaLand’s plan for Hyderabad. It hopes to meet the growing need from Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and big firms looking for top office spots.

“We are happy to grow our work in Hyderabad, using its lively scene to build strong, world-class tech,” said Gauri Shankar Nagabhushanam.

Current projects and what’s next

CapitaLand runs three key business parks in Hyderabad: International Tech Park Hyderabad (ITPH), aVance Hyderabad, and CyberPearl.

Also, their 25 MW IT load data center in Hyderabad, which was announced before, is set to finish by mid-2025. The next phase of work at ITPH will start this year, and they plan to wrap it up by 2028.
