Jaipur-based dairy and ice cream brand FruBon has raised fresh funding from Fireside Ventures, Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office, and a group of angel investors. The company did not disclose the size of the investment.
FruBon is operated by Dev Milk Foods, a consumer-focused dairy company that has built its presence across North India with a wide range of milk-based products and frozen desserts. The latest capital infusion is expected to support the company’s next phase of growth as it expands its market reach and strengthens operations.
Capital to Back Retail Growth and Infrastructure
According to the company, the newly raised funds will be used to widen FruBon’s retail footprint, improve manufacturing capacity, and strengthen its cold chain infrastructure. A part of the investment will also go toward product development across its dairy and ice cream categories.
For food and dairy brands, efficient cold storage and distribution systems are critical for maintaining product quality and reaching customers in new markets. By investing in these areas, FruBon aims to support larger volumes and faster delivery across its network.
The company is also looking to deepen its presence in existing markets while preparing for expansion into new cities.
Building on Earlier Funding Momentum
This is not FruBon’s first institutional fundraise. The company had previously raised $10.5 million in a Series A round that was co-led by Fireside Ventures and pi Ventures.
That earlier round helped the company scale operations and broaden its product offerings. The latest investment signals continued investor interest in India’s branded dairy and packaged food segment, where demand for convenience products and premium offerings has been rising steadily.

From Rajasthan Roots to a Wider Northern Presence
Founded in 2017 by DD, Rahul, and Rohit Verma, Dev Milk Foods began as a dairy business with operations across Rajasthan. Over time, the company expanded beyond core dairy processing into manufacturing, marketing, and transportation, allowing it to build a more integrated operating model.
Today, FruBon says it serves customers in more than 75 cities and towns across North India. Its products are distributed through multiple channels including general trade stores, modern retail outlets, HORECA partnerships, and quick commerce platforms.
This multi-channel strategy allows the brand to cater to household consumers, restaurants, hotels, cafes, and online shoppers.
Broad Product Portfolio Across Categories
FruBon reports that it offers more than 200 stock keeping units across several dairy and dessert categories. Its range includes ice creams, flavoured milk, paneer, ghee, lassi, chaach, and other dairy products.
A diversified product portfolio gives the company access to different consumer segments and consumption occasions, from daily essentials such as paneer and ghee to indulgence-led products like ice cream.
The company’s ice cream business features a mix of familiar and experimental flavours. Among the options listed by the brand are Chilli Guava, Rose Gulkand, Banarasi Paan, Alphonso Gold, Strawberry Cheesecake, Sitaphal, and Black Forest Cake.
This approach reflects a growing trend in India’s dessert market, where regional tastes and novelty flavours are increasingly being blended with mainstream formats.
Supply Chain Focus at the Core
FruBon says its operations are supported by an integrated supply chain that includes milk collection centres across Rajasthan. The company also follows quality testing processes at multiple stages including sourcing, production, and packaging.
For dairy businesses, reliable procurement and quality control are central to maintaining consistency, especially when serving a wide geography with perishable products.
By combining sourcing networks with in-house production and distribution capabilities, FruBon aims to create tighter control over operations while reducing delays and wastage.
Next Phase of Expansion
Looking ahead, the company plans to enter additional cities, strengthen its distribution network, and scale its supply chain further.
As competition intensifies in India’s dairy and frozen dessert space, brands that can balance product innovation with operational efficiency are likely to gain an advantage. FruBon’s latest funding round positions the company to pursue that strategy while broadening its presence in one of the country’s fast-evolving consumer food segments.
