PepsiCo has announced the promotion of Om Jha to Director – Global Media Capabilities. In this expanded role, Jha will oversee the strategic execution of PepsiCo’s media initiatives on a global scale, enhancing the company’s digital and media outreach capabilities.
Previously, Om Jha served as Director – Media, Data, Marketing Capabilities, and Partnerships for nearly three years. In a social media post reflecting on his journey, Jha expressed his gratitude to key leaders at PepsiCo, including Vishal Kaul, George Kovoor, Anshul Khanna, Shyam Venugopal, and Abhishek Jadon for their support and mentorship. “Now I am at a juncture where I am super excited and a little bit nervous too as I start in a new role in the Global Media & Transformation Team,” Jha shared on Linkedin
Before joining PepsiCo, Jha was associated with Disney Star as Assistant Vice President – Customer Strategy and held the position of Senior Director – Strategy at GroupM. His diverse experience in media and strategy is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping PepsiCo’s global media strategies.
Jha’s promotion is an extension of PepsiCo’s move to boost its digital media expertise and reach more consumers. His management will bring innovative thinking for media planning and alliances, driving PepsiCo’s performance in key markets around the world.
