ePlane and TCS join forces to redefine urban mobility with Flying Cars

The ePlane Company, known for its work with electric flying taxis, has teamed up with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leader in tech and digital change. This new bond aims to speed up the growth of clean and efficient electric flights for people and goods, marking a big change in city travel.

Solving city transport with new tech
The main goal of this team-up is to fix big urban problems like traffic jams, waste, and harm to the earth. By joining ePlane’s skills in small eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) planes with TCS’s know-how in AI, IoT, and data use, they hope to change how cities handle transport.

ePlane will share its cool plane designs and smart tech, while TCS will improve these systems with digital tools, like AI insights and IoT links. This mix of skills offers a strong base for future air transport systems.

Focus on being green
The teamwork also puts a strong focus on being green, looking at ways to use clean energy and build smart supply systems. By creating a big, eco-friendly network, they want to set new rules for electric flights.

Plans for a smarter tomorrow
As part of their plan, the two firms will look into many ideas. These include working together on custom solutions for TCS clients, showing off products at places like TCS PacePorts™, and running test projects. These actions aim to quicken the use of new air transport systems, placing this team-up at the front of green travel change.

Voices from leaders
Vishnu Ramakrishnan from ePlane shared his hope about this new link:
“This work with TCS helps our goal to change urban travel with smart and clean air options. By using TCS’s digital skills, we can grow our ideas and make urban air travel real.”

Harrick Vin from TCS
“We are excited to join with ePlane, a leader in flying taxis. This link shows our aim to use tech for a better, greener way to travel.”

India’s role in world transport
Founded by Professor Satya Chakravarthy and started at IIT Madras in 2019, The ePlane Company is building the e200x, an eVTOL plane that aims to make urban travel seven times faster. With its smart and green designs, ePlane is set to change city travel, showing India’s key role in global transport change.

As cities around the globe fight with rising traffic and environmental issues, this partnership shines a light on the future of city air travel.
