In a move that signals how sharply the IT services industry is reorganising around artificial intelligence, Infogain has relaunched itself as Tenarai, positioning the company as an enterprise AI acceleration firm focused on helping large businesses turn AI experiments into measurable business outcomes.

The shift follows a multi-year transformation and is built around three clear pillars: global talent initiatives, development of an enterprise AI platform, and strategic partnerships with leading technology providers and startups.

That framing matters. At a time when many companies are still speaking in broad terms about AI adoption, Tenarai is trying to place itself in a more specific lane: not just advising enterprises on AI, but accelerating deployment in ways that connect directly to business performance.

“We are obsessed with turning AI potential into tangible business outcomes for our customers,” said Dinesh Venugopal, CEO of Tenarai, in the announcement. He added that the company’s combination of engineering talent, domain expertise and customer context positions it as an AI acceleration partner for global enterprises.

The company says it already works with Fortune 500 leaders, and its stated focus is on helping enterprises move from pilot-stage enthusiasm to real operational gains. That intent is reflected in the solution areas it has highlighted, which include AI-enabled e-commerce platforms, AI content transformation for marketers, demand forecasting for revenue growth, accelerated engineering through hybrid agentic PODs, enterprise agent orchestration, and unified enterprise data for AI applications.

Tenarai describes its AI-first approach as one that is “deeply human,” arguing that AI should amplify human ingenuity while keeping people accountable for business outcomes. As part of that approach, it has launched Frontier Labs, a specialised team designed to turn ideas into production-ready solutions more quickly. The company has also introduced roles such as Forward Deployed Engineers and Agentic Design Leads, which appear aimed at bridging advanced AI architecture with day-to-day enterprise workflows.

The partnership strategy is another major part of the company’s new identity. Tenarai says it is working with technology players including Databricks, Salesforce, Google Cloud and Adobe, alongside other partners, to build and accelerate customer solutions.

At the same time, it is extending that ecosystem approach to the talent pipeline. The company has announced strategic partnerships with NIT Delhi and BITS Pilani, centred on campus-to-corporate programmes such as innovation labs, joint R&D, internships, knowledge sharing and co-created AI curriculum design.

That combination of enterprise delivery, talent-building and ecosystem alignment suggests Tenarai wants to be seen as more than a conventional IT services rebrand. The company is also expanding its Startup Acceleration Program, which it says is intended to connect early-stage firms with large enterprise customers while giving enterprises earlier exposure to emerging innovation.

In practical terms, the relaunch reflects a wider industry reality: AI is no longer being marketed only as a future opportunity. Service providers are now under pressure to show where value will come from, how fast deployment can happen, and who will help enterprises manage the transition.

Tenarai’s new identity is built squarely around that promise.

Whether the rebrand translates into stronger market differentiation will depend on execution. But from the language of the announcement, the company is making one thing clear: it wants to be judged less as a legacy IT services name and more as a partner for enterprises trying to operationalise AI at scale.
