A langar without a gurdwara, a post-game spread without soda or chips, Gurgaon’s latest community experiment, the Protein Langar, blended fitness, food, and startup flair in what GOAT LIFE founder Yash Kalra called the city’s “healthiest langar ever.”

This unconventional “Protein Langar” took place not in a traditional setting but on a pickleball court, where players and visitors were served a line-up of health-focused snacks instead of the usual sugar-heavy post-match fare.
The Protein Langar
Retaining the communal essence of a langar, everyone eats together, Kalra’s version replaced heavy meals with protein-packed alternatives. Guests were served:
- GOAT LIFE protein oats in a Kulfi & Mango flavour mix
- SuperYou’s protein wafers and chips
- A serving of dietary fibre on the side
“It was about turning a regular post-game break into something that actually fuels you,” Kalra explained. The spread became a talking point not just for its novelty, but for the way it blended community eating with nutritional intent.
The Blinkit Moment
Midway through the event, an unplanned twist made the activation even more memorable, they ran out of oats and bars. Rather than halting service, Kalra and his team did something no brand playbook could have predicted: they ordered their own GOAT LIFE stock on Blinkit.

“We’d been telling people that GOAT LIFE is live on Blinkit,” Kalra said. “So when we ran out, it just made sense to order our own product right there. We meant it.”
The spontaneous move not only kept the langar running but doubled as a live brand demo, a real-time proof that GOAT LIFE products are available on instant delivery.
The brand’s approach stood out for its simplicity: no celebrity appearances, no loud marketing gimmicks, just good food, good energy, and a good idea.
Health, Culture, and the Startup Spirit
The Protein Langar is more than just a marketing event, it’s a reflection of how Indian health startups are reimagining cultural traditions for the modern urban audience. By serving oats and wafers in a setting known for sport, GOAT LIFE found a fresh way to associate its brand with fitness, inclusivity, and fun.
And if you ask Kalra to summarise it? “Basically,” he says with a grin, “Gurgaon just had its healthiest langar ever.”
