Homegrown fashion label Bewakoof has emerged as the top-performing brand at Vegas Mall, Dwarka for the first quarter of FY 2025-26, underscoring its growing foothold in offline retail.
The recognition, awarded by the mall management, acknowledges sales performance among dozens of brands operating at the west Delhi shopping centre, one of the busiest in the city.
Prabhkiran Singh, founder and CEO of Bewakoof, shared the news on Monday with a photo of the certificate, describing the moment as both an achievement and a relief.

“Building a D2C brand doesn’t guarantee retail success. The skills are different. The challenges are new,” Singh wrote, reflecting on the company’s transition from an online-only direct-to-consumer model to physical retail.
Bewakoof Opened its First Store In 2022
Known for its quirky apparel and youth-centric designs, Bewakoof has spent over a decade building its brand online before venturing into brick-and-mortar stores. The company opened its first store in 2022 and has steadily expanded its presence across Indian cities.
Singh admitted that while the team felt confident thanks to the brand equity they’d built over the years, offline retail came with its own share of doubts and learnings. “Each new channel takes time to learn, and there are no guaranteed successes,” he noted.
He also pointed out that capital alone is not enough to guarantee strong performance in offline retail. “Of course, it takes only capital to open stores, but performance can’t be bought,” Singh wrote, adding that the top-performer recognition at Vegas Mall proves their stores are delivering results.
From shipping its first online order more than a decade ago to now topping sales charts at a marquee Delhi mall, Bewakoof’s journey highlights the growing appetite of D2C brands to establish a presence in offline retail and meet consumers where they shop.
Singh concluded his note on an optimistic note, saying, “The journey continues,” suggesting more growth and milestones lie ahead for the Mumbai-based company.
