Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has announced Rajneet Kohli’s appointment as the new Executive Director of Food. Kohli, who previously served as CEO of Britannia Industries, will assume the role effective April 7, 2025.
Kohli will succeed Shiva Krishnamurthy, who is moving on to pursue an external opportunity. The move marks a significant leadership transition within HUL’s key business vertical as the company continues strengthening its position in India’s growing packaged foods market.
HUL, one of India’s largest FMCG companies, has been steadily expanding its foods portfolio, and Kohli’s appointment is expected to bring valuable expertise, given his leadership experience at Britannia, a major player in the bakery and dairy segments.
No further details have been disclosed by the company regarding Kohli’s mandate or immediate priorities in his new role.
