Gurugram-based B2B quick commerce platform Fairdeal.Market has secured $15 million (approximately Rs 142.8 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Bertelsmann India Investments (BII). Existing investors WaterBridge Ventures and Incubate Asia Fund also participated in the round, reinforcing their confidence in the company’s growth strategy.

The latest investment comes less than a year after the startup raised $3 million (around Rs 25 crore) in a pre-Series A round led by Incubate Fund Asia and WaterBridge Ventures, with participation from angel investors.

Fresh Capital to Strengthen Operations and Technology

Fairdeal.Market plans to use the newly raised funds to expand its dark-store network across densely populated urban areas, enhance its technology and data infrastructure, deepen engagement with retailers, and strengthen its last-mile delivery capabilities.

The company believes these investments will help it improve operational efficiency while supporting its efforts to serve a growing network of retailers. The focus on technology and logistics is aimed at enabling faster fulfillment and a more seamless ordering experience for retail partners.

Building a Faster Supply Chain for Retailers

Founded in 2022 by Prateek Bansal and Yash Bansal, Fairdeal.Market operates a B2B quick commerce platform designed to help retailers replenish inventory quickly and efficiently.

The startup currently delivers more than 1,000 stock keeping units (SKUs) to retailers across the Delhi NCR region within 60 minutes. Its platform combines real-time inventory visibility, transparent pricing, and rapid fulfillment, allowing retailers to manage stock more effectively and improve business performance.

By addressing common challenges faced by small retailers, including inventory shortages and procurement delays, the company aims to make product sourcing faster and more predictable.

Tapping Into India’s Vast Kirana Ecosystem

India’s retail landscape is dominated by a large network of neighborhood grocery stores. According to a market report, the country is home to more than 13 million kirana stores, making it one of the largest retail ecosystems globally.

This vast and fragmented market has created significant opportunities for technology-driven B2B commerce platforms that can simplify procurement and improve supply chain efficiency for retailers.

Fairdeal.Market is positioning itself within this growing segment by offering quick delivery and a technology-enabled ordering system tailored to the needs of local retailers.

Rapid Growth Across Delhi NCR

The company currently operates across Delhi NCR and has been actively expanding its retailer network, dark-store footprint, and partnerships with brands.

Over the past six months, Fairdeal.Market has scaled its operations to serve more than 20,000 active retailers in the region. The startup also reported a customer retention rate of over 80%, indicating strong engagement among retailers using its platform.

The company is now targeting a significant expansion of its retailer base and aims to serve more than 100,000 retailers during the current financial year. Achieving this goal would mark a major step in its efforts to strengthen its presence in India’s fast-growing B2B commerce market.

Competition Intensifies in B2B Commerce

Fairdeal.Market operates in a competitive sector that has attracted considerable investor interest in recent years. Several companies are working to digitize and streamline supply chains for small businesses and kirana stores across India.

Major players in the segment include entities such as Udaan and Jumbotail, among others. These companies are competing to provide retailers with faster procurement, wider product selection, and improved logistics support.

With fresh funding in hand, Fairdeal.Market is looking to strengthen its operational capabilities and expand its reach as demand for technology-driven retail supply solutions continues to grow across urban markets.
