Mumbai-based investing startup Trackk has raised $3.7 million in a seed funding round led by Lightspeed, with participation from Info Edge Ventures and several angel investors, including Gaurav Munjal, Roman Saini, Tanmay Bhatt, Varun Mayya and Gaurav Kapoor.

Founded by Vedant Gupte, Siddharth Thakkar and Aryan Jain, Trackk is building an investing platform aimed at young Indians, especially first-time investors who are entering financial markets with a different relationship to money, technology and risk than older generations.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its broking infrastructure, expand product capabilities, speed up user acquisition and customer onboarding, and grow its team across key functions. It also intends to build additional financial products for younger investors.

At the heart of Trackk’s pitch is a simpler investing experience. The platform combines AI-led stock discovery, personalised user journeys and simplified execution tools, with the larger goal of making market participation easier for young users.

“With Trackk, we are building a platform that simplifies participation in financial markets for young Indians while making the overall investing journey far more intuitive and accessible,” said Vedant Gupte, co-founder and CEO of Trackk.

Investors backing the round see the company as part of a wider shift in India’s financial behaviour. Romit Mehta, investor at Lightspeed, said Trackk is building for a generation whose relationship with financial products is fundamentally different from that of previous generations.

Chinmaya Sharma, partner at Info Edge Ventures, said young Indians need investing platforms that help them make informed financial decisions and build long-term wealth responsibly.

Trackk says nearly 90 per cent of its user base belongs to the Gen Z demographic, with the average user age ranging between 20 and 24 years. The company is now working toward a broader multi-asset financial platform covering investing, wealth creation and other financial products for young India.

In October 2025, Trackk became one of India’s youngest registered brokers after a felicitation by Sundararaman R, managing director and CEO of the Bombay Stock Exchange.
