Ajmera Realty & Infra India Ltd has announced a significant reduction in its corporate debt, repaying ₹100 crore ahead of schedule. This move brings the company’s outstanding debt down to ₹693 crore from ₹793 crore as recorded in the second quarter of FY25.
Debt repayment supported by equity funding
In a regulatory filing, the Mumbai-based real estate firm confirmed that the repayment was facilitated by the ₹225 crore raised through a recent equity offering. This strategic use of equity funds underscores Ajmera Realty’s focus on financial optimization and operational efficiency.
“The repayment is facilitated from the funds raised through the recent equity offering of ₹225 crore,” the company said, highlighting its commitment to financial discipline and long-term value creation.
