Maternal and baby care brand Promom has raised Rs 30 crore in a funding round led by Fireside Ventures.
The company intends to direct the capital towards product innovation and a wider range of offerings across the maternal and baby care ecosystem. Improving access to its products for mothers across the country is also among its stated priorities.
Founded in 2023 by Anavi Kalia, Manas Tripathi and Aditya Srivastava, Promom develops products aimed at addressing practical challenges associated with early parenting. Its approach places reliability, quality and accessibility at the centre of product development for Indian families.
Team ProMom is attempting to solve a dilemma that many moms face. International products tend to be expensive and may be harder to service; local products, on the other hand, may not always guarantee good quality and efficiency.
Promom’s proposition is to narrow that gap by offering maternal and baby care products that bring together quality, practical design and affordability.
The company has developed and refined its products in collaboration with mothers, doctors and consultants. Feedback drawn from everyday use and lived experiences has also been used to shape its offerings around problems faced by parents.
That development process is particularly important in a category where products are closely connected to the daily needs of mothers and babies. Rather than relying only on product specifications, Promom has focused on incorporating feedback from both users and professionals.
The latest funding gives the company additional resources to pursue three clearly defined goals: strengthen product innovation, broaden its maternal and baby care portfolio, and make its offerings available to more mothers nationwide.
Promom has not disclosed further details about the funding round, including its stage, valuation or the participation of any additional investors.
