US spearheaded the firm’s global expansion, with headquarters in the US and subsidiaries in the UK and India strategically positioned to serve the European and Asian markets, respectively. Headquartered in Kochin, the company develops and delivers scalable robotic solutions for applications that have not been automated previously. Its products are being used by tier one companies and service providers to expedite test cycles and reduce the time-to-market for their products.
The Vision of Cofounder and CEO, Aronin Ponnappan
Aronin Ponnappan shares,
“When I was a kid I always wanted to build something that can be useful for my childhood life. The passion for becoming a creator was growing up with me. In school, I start to love electronics that’s why I selected Electronics and communication for my B-tech. When I started my college life, I slowly realized the fact that the coexistence of humans and intelligent machines is the next step of evolution which lead me to the amazing world of Robotics. The reality is, I madly love this field, my intensive passion for being a creator now dreams of the world, where Ironman suit, i-Robot Artificial Intelligence Humanoid Robots (V.I.K.I.) and much more is a reality.
With my co-founders, I started my company (Sastra Robotics India Pvt Ltd.) in 2013 with an ambitious goal of creating a perfect robotic companion for humans. We strongly believe that the main reason behind this human victory is our ability to handle things smartly. We have the power to dream and we have the ability to fulfil our dreams. Initially, our focus is to replicate human hand capabilities with touch and feel.”
