Anmasa: Tradition Meets Innovation in Premium Indian Kitchen Essentials

In a world shaped by AI and technology, Anmasa stays true to the age-old traditions of the Indian kitchen, delivering unmatched flavor and nutrition through time-honored rituals.

Anmasa Consumer Private Limited is emerging as a pioneering force in India’s FMCG and retail sector, blending tradition with innovation to deliver premium kitchen essentials. Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana, this company has quickly established itself as a trusted name for natural and high-quality food products.

The Founders

Anmasa was founded by Yatish Talvadia and Shailendra Upadhyay. Yatish was former Milkbasket cofounder and CEO while Upadhyay previously founded Veggie India, which was acquired by Milkbasket in 2019.

Talvadia’s inspiration for launching Anmasa stemmed from his own struggles with an autoimmune disease that required a gluten-free diet. Realizing the lack of a single reliable brand for freshly ground flours, he saw an opportunity to fill the gap in the market.

A Curated Culinary Experience

With over 80 Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), Anmasa sets itself apart by offering a meticulously curated selection of grains, spices, pulses, dry fruits, and cereals. Here is a comprehensive list of the products offered by Anmasa :

Omnichannel Strategy for Modern Consumers

While Anamasa’s cold pressed oils, whole spices and dry fruits are pre-packed after processing, the wheat is always freshly milled. Currently, Anmasa operates exclusively in Gurugram through an omnichannel model, featuring an experiential store where customers can witness the milling process before purchasing online or offline.

Anmasa does not use Zepto or Blinkit at this time. They believe this ensures the freshness.

Freshness is the reason why this startup chose to go for the omnichannel route. They want to cater to the customers who do not prefer packaged wheat flour of popular brands like Aashirvaad, Pilsbury, or Fortune and also want premium and hygienic products.
