Can UNIFYD Become a Global Platform for Indian Music?
UNIFYD is being positioned as more than a conventional live music concert. Its planned combination of multiple performers, different musical styles and cultural experiences gives the event an international focus.
The first edition will bring together established Bollywood playback singing and contemporary Punjabi music, with Shah Rukh Khan overseeing its creative direction.
The planned expansion into other international cities could give the festival a wider reach, although the organisers have not announced a confirmed expansion schedule.
For now, the immediate focus is on the Abu Dhabi event on March 20, 2027. With Arijit Singh, Sonu Nigam and Karan Aujla among the first confirmed names, the remaining line-up, ticket prices and additional event details are likely to be key points of interest as the festival approaches.
