The incident in the Yerwada region went viral online, with individuals from all over the country showing their outrage and disgust.

The video, recorded by a passerby, shows Ahuja casually stepping out of his high-end BMW, relieving himself by the roadside, and then driving off as if nothing happened. The Pune police act swiftly, registering a case against Ahuja and his companion Bhavesh Oswal, who is seen sitting in the car during the incident. They are booked under charges of public nuisance, rash driving, and endangering public safety under the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act. The duo is later detained from Satara district.
