AI-powered features in One UI 7 Beta

The One UI 7 Beta introduces enhanced AI capabilities. For instance, the new writing tools help users with tasks like summarizing text, checking grammar, and formatting notes. This update boosts productivity by reducing the need to switch between apps. Additionally, the update improves call features with automatic transcription in 20 languages, making it easier to document conversations.

Enhanced user interface and personalization

The update also includes the “Now Bar,” a new feature on the lock screen. It gives quick access to functions such as music controls, stopwatch, and interpreter tools. The home screen has been redesigned for simplicity, while widgets have been updated. The camera experience is more intuitive, and Pro video mode now offers smoother zoom control, enhancing video quality for professionals.

Global rollout and availability

Currently, the One UI 7 Beta is available for Galaxy S24 series devices in select markets like India, Germany, Korea, Poland, the UK, and the U.S. Samsung plans to release the final version of One UI 7 with the next Galaxy S series smartphones in early 2025.
