Oyo’s ‘SUNDAY’ launches first international property in London

The SUNDAY Lansbury Heritage Hotel in London, near the Canary Wharf business district, becomes the brand’s first global property. This 35-room boutique hotel is housed in a Grade II-listed building. The structure has a rich history dating back to 1628, offering guests a blend of heritage and luxury. With this launch, Oyo aims to enhance its footprint in the premium hotel segment.

In addition, Oyo has launched the SUNDAY Holiday International Hotel in Dubai. This property strengthens the company’s presence in the global premium market. By focusing on high-demand locations, Oyo is positioning SUNDAY as a key player in luxury accommodations for global travellers.

Rapid growth of Oyo’s ‘SUNDAY’ brand

Oyo introduced the SUNDAY brand in May 2023, starting with three properties in India. Since then, it has rapidly grown its portfolio. The company plans to expand to 25 premium hotels in India by March 2025. Furthermore, the international launch signals Oyo’s ambition to cater to a wider audience in the luxury hospitality space.

Why Oyo’s ‘SUNDAY’ stands out

As Puneet Yadav, Head of Oravel’s UK business, explains, the expansion strategy is based on growing demand for premium, experience-driven accommodations. SUNDAY focuses on combining luxury and value, helping Oyo stand out in a competitive market.
