Indian D2C jewellery brand GIVA Jewellery, headquartered in Bengaluru, has opened its 200th exclusive brand outlet (EBO) at Forum South Mall, South Bengaluru. The event was inaugurated by veteran actor Karisma Kapoor and reinforces GIVA’s strategy to blend digital and physical retail experiences across India and Sri Lanka .
Ambitious Expansion Plans: 700 Stores in 60 Cities
Founder and CEO Ishendra Agarwal said the 200th store launch is “a significant milestone,” part of a broader plan to reach 700 outlets across 60 metropolitan and Tier II cities within three years. GIVA opened its first standalone outlet in Bengaluru in 2022 and has since rapidly grown its offline footprint alongside its digital presence.
Product Range and Market Appeal
GIVA offers modern, affordable jewellery crafted from silver, gold, and lab‑grown diamonds, targeting young consumers with an omnichannel experience. Originally focused on silver, the brand expanded into gold and lab‑grown diamonds to meet emerging consumer trends .
Celebrity Endorsements Fuel Brand Credibility
Bollywood star Anushka Sharma has been the brand spokesperson since 2021. She appears in commercials for websites like Hotstar and SonyLiv. In one famous ad, Anushka was seen choosing jewellery with her dog’s blessing. This campaign was praised for celebrating love in all of its forms.
Strong Funding Backing Supports Growth
In order to fund its expansion, GIVA has raised money in many rounds:
- Series A (January 2022) was worth ₹83.5 crore, while Series B (July 2023) was worth ₹200 crore.
- In extended Series B (October 2024), ₹255 crore
- Series B2 (March 2025) at ₹102 crore.
These funds will help the company diversify and increase the range of products it offers.
International Presence: Sri Lanka and Beyond
