The Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan (CM YUVA Scheme) continues to transform young dreamers into job creators. At the CM YUVA Conclave & Expo‑2025, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that over 68,000 youth in Uttar Pradesh have received ₹2,751 crore in interest‑free, collateral‑free loans to start their ventures.

How the Scheme Empowers Beneficiaries

Throughout the expo, a number of beneficiaries presented motivational tales:

  • The wooden toy manufacturer Vijay Pandey, who is located in Lucknow, has grown his business to include 16 sites and currently has more than 15 employees.
  • After leaving a pharmacy job in Bengaluru, Shashank Chaurasia opened a photography studio in Uttar Pradesh with a revenue of 4-5 lakh and hired local children.
  • Biotechnologist Tuba Siddiqui employs more than ten individuals and develops environmentally friendly cleaning solutions for big cities.
  • Sitapur resident Amardeep Singh used the financing to establish a rehabilitation facility that creates jobs for the community.
  • With ₹4.25 lakh in debt, Prabhnoor Kaur, a skilled baker from Kanpur, founded a posh bakery.   At the moment, she has about 10 employees.

Beyond Loans: Mentorship, Market Access & Digital Tools

CM YUVA isn’t just about funding. It offers 10% margin‑money assistance, an automatic license exemption for the first 1,000 days, and 5 lakh insurance cover. These support layers aim to reduce barriers for new entrepreneurs.

At the event, the UP Mart portal was introduced, connecting startups with machinery suppliers. Seventeen MoUs across manufacturing, services, and tech sectors were signed to boost collaboration. Officials were instructed to bring at least 50 youth from each district to the expo for hands-on exposure.

Inclusion & Reach: Who Benefits

Since January 2025 launch, over 55,000 entrepreneurs aged 18–40 have benefited, as CM stressed that the scheme leaves no distinction of caste, gender, or region. Phase 2 and 3 loan tranches allow growth funds up to ₹10 lakh. The program also extends support to the transgender community through skills training and targeted financial access.

Why CM YUVA Matters for UP’s Economy

Over 1.65 crore people are employed by Uttar Pradesh’s nearly 96 lakh MSME businesses, which also contribute roughly 46% of the state’s exports. CM YUVA promotes larger reforms like Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana and ODOP by supporting new enterprises and traditional handicrafts.

In Summary

The CM YUVA initiative is enhancing Uttar Pradesh’s entrepreneurial ecosystem with ₹2,751 crore in interest-free support for over 68,000 young people. By providing financial access, mentorship, digital tools, and crucial connections, it promotes job creation while focusing on inclusion, training, and market linkages as a model for youth-driven economic transformation.
