ShopOS is a tech platform that enables direct to consumer (D2C) brands and retailers to manage their end to end e-commerce operations, from setting up online storefronts to handling inventory, logistics, payments and customer engagement.

ShopOS Secures $20M to Reimagine Retail with AI

The company founded by Sai Krishna V K and Ajay P V, recently raised $20 million in Series A funding from 3STATE Ventures, led by Flipkart co‑founder Binny Bansal, with support from investors like Tribe Capital and Base10. The company will use the funds to expand its engineering team and further develop its AI platforms and add more brand customers.

A Growing Global Footprint

ShopOS comprises of a 30+ member AI-driven team holding 14 patents and boasts early adopters across India, Europe, and the UAE. Backed by strong investors and rapidly advancing tech capabilities, it now plans to onboard hundreds of new brands over the next 12 months, aiming to become the go to AI infrastructure for global e-commerce businesses.

From Static Stores to Living Digital Experiences

Speaking about the future of e-commerce, Sai Krishna V K shared : “Every store looks the same.
Static pages. Generic recommendations. Brittle intelligence. Commerce 3.0 will need a new system of record for brands. Everyone tries to fix this by adding more apps. A “smarter” search bar, a new recommendations box. But it’s like putting a jet engine on a horse-drawn cart…”

To address this challenge, ShopOS is rebuilding the foundation of online stores. “… we’re starting over with a new approach: agents. Instead of software that supports a static store, what if the software is the store? A store that’s alive. One that can rebuild parts of itself for every single visitor. How? By giving the store an AI workforce.”

Redefining Retail Infrastructure

With ShopOS, every element of the e-commerce experience can dynamically adapt to each visitor in real time using AI agents, delivering personalised and intelligent storefronts at scale.

With this new funding and vision, ShopOS is aiming to redefine the future of e-commerce infrastructure, challenging the status quo and enabling brands to go beyond static experiences to create adaptive, AI powered shopping journeys.

In conclusion, ShopOS’s $20 million raise is not just a scaling effort, it’s a confident step toward building India’s first AI native e‑commerce operating system, rooted in automation and designed for a future where every storefront is flexible, intelligent, and responsive.
