Clean‑energy startup HYLENR Technologies today announced the successful closing of a USD 3 million Pre‑Series A funding round. The investment was co‑led by Valour Capital and Chhattisgarh Investments Limited, with participation from individual investors Karthik Sundar Iyer and Anant Sarda.

Strategic Funding to Propel Commercial Launch

It is appropriate funding for a very significant step in HYLENR’s journey from lab exploration to product prototypes and pilot deployment for customers worldwide. The funding will allow the company to accelerate its commercial roadmap and progress to scaling manufacturing and operations for both domestic and international markets in mind.

Innovation Behind LENR Technology

Launched in 2024 and headquartered in Hyderabad, HYLENR has developed proprietary Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR)-based hybrid heat systems. The startup holds two patents, one covering the system architecture and another for its core LENR process innovation.

Products in development include models ranging from 7.2 kW units suitable for residential use to 1 MW systems designed for industrial-scale thermal generation, including applications in manufacturing, oil and gas, district heating, and clean water desalination.

Leadership Speaks: Confidence and Growth Plans

Ram Ramaseshan, Co‑Founder and CEO, emphasized the significance of the round: “This is a vote of confidence in both our technology and mission. We are moving beyond proof-of‑concept to address real-world energy needs across markets in the US, Europe, India, and Japan.”

Siddhartha Durairajan, Chairman & Managing Director, highlighted strong lab outcomes and institutional backing: “Our recent lab results show unprecedented energy gain ratios. This round gives us the momentum to focus on our product roadmap. Early tests with government bodies and large corporates have shown interest in our LENR systems.”

Karan Goshar, Partner at Valour Capital, described the technology as “disruptive,” noting its scalability and safety advantages. He also praised the founding team’s expertise, positioning HYLENR as a potential leader in the global energy transition.

Pilot Projects and Industry Interest

HYLENR has initiated pilot deployments with government organizations and global industry leaders to replace fossil fuel based heating systems with clean, next-generation LENR based systems.

Looking Ahead: Series A and Expansion Strategy

With the Pre-Series A secured, HYLENR plans to pursue a Series A raise of around USD 25 million, targeting climate‑focused investors in the U.S. and Europe. The capital will support international partnerships, expanded manufacturing, and enhanced R&D capabilities.

Why LENR Matters

  • Clean and safe: LENR systems produce thermal energy without combustion, offering near-zero carbon emissions.
  • High efficiency: Early lab data suggests energy output well above the input.
  • Scalable models: Device variants cover a broad range, from household to industrial scale.
  • Versatile applications: Ideal for sectors requiring heat, such as desalination, industrial processing, and district heating.

Company Profile

  • Founded: 2024 (Hyderabad, India)
  • Key Team: Innovation led by Padma Shri awardee Dr. Prahlada, associated with India’s Akash missile program, alongside Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Varaprasad.

Implications for the Energy Sector

As global policymakers and industries increasingly accelerate toward decarbonization, the investment by HYLENR reflects growing confidence in LENR’s ability to disrupt thermal energy production. HYLENR proposes to harness its patented and proven technology with pilots in development and an aggressive expansion plan to be a significant contributor to the clean heat revolution.
