Swiggy has announced the appointment of Atul Handa as Vice President for its quick commerce vertical, Instamart. Handa joins the company with over 16 years of diverse experience spanning multiple industries, including FMCG, alcoholic beverages, pharmaceuticals, white goods, and fashion.
In his career, Handa has successfully scaled new businesses from inception and steered the growth of large-scale enterprises. Before joining Swiggy, he held leadership roles at prominent organizations such as Flipkart and Myntra, where he was instrumental in building high-performing teams and delivering significant business outcomes. Handa also has entrepreneurial experience, having founded a venture in the digital marketing space.
A Delhi native, Handa has been working in Bengaluru for the last six years. In his free time, he is interested in cars and travel, hobbies he shares with great enthusiasm. His interest in trying new foods also resonates with the rich food culture promoted at Swiggy.
