Leading online financial marketplace, Paisabazaar, has announced the appointment of Santosh Agarwal as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective March 1, 2025. Agarwal will report directly to Yashish Dahiya, while also continuing to oversee the life insurance segment in the short term.
Agarwal’s elevation comes as Naveen Kukreja, who led Paisabazaar for 11 years, steps back from day-to-day operations to assume a broader strategic role within PB Fintech, the parent company. Kukreja will also join the board of Paisabazaar as a Non-Executive Director, ensuring a smooth transition of leadership.

Agarwal, whose role has been pivotal in taking the company ahead, is carrying a wealth of experience with herself in her current position. Under her leadership, the life insurance business grew drastically, and her being at the helm would become a perfect position to lead the overall business of Paisabazaar.
In addition to the succession in the top position, the company also recently declared that its current Chief Financial Officer, Satya, is set to step down by the end of the financial year. The firm management is more likely to initiate search efforts shortly.
The leadership shake-up indicates Paisabazaar’s intentions to consolidate its market position and broaden its bouquet of services. As the company continues to innovate and scale its operations, the leadership changes are seen as a strategic move to align with its long-term vision.
