Roadway Solutions wins LOA for key ₹4,700 crore MSRDC projects

Roadway Solutions India Infra Limited, a major infrastructure company headquartered in Pune, Western India, has received a letter of acceptance from MSRDC for two big projects: the Pune Ring Road and the Jalna-Nanded Expressway. These two projects have an aggregate value of Rs 4,700 crore and are in its order book.

RSIIL said that this acquisition has raised the company’s order book above Rs 10,000 crore and added a huge amount of money to its wallet.

The Managing Director of RSIIL, Ameet Gadhoke, said, “We are thrilled to have secured these projects, which not only reflect our capabilities but also our commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions. We will continue to focus on India’s transportation network while incorporating sustainability and innovation into everything that we do.”.

The company believes that the Pune Ring Road project will offer connectivity within the metropolitan area of Pune to the rising traffic demand and, regionally, will be needed for overall economic development. This project is likely to reduce travel time significantly and ensure safe transport for commuters. The Jalna-Nanded Expressway will also provide smooth transportation between the two crucial cities, thereby promoting trade and enhancing accessibility across Maharashtra.

Related, GR Infraprojects, a construction engineering firm listed in the public domain, bagged a different order of Rs 1,885.63 crore for an access-controlled section of the Pune Ring Road. One of the packages PRR W5 is the stretch of 9.341 km from village Kalyan/Rathwade (km 55+500) to village Shivare/Kusgaon (km 64+841) at the Pune district, and it will be delivered through the EPC mode.

Importantly, the total cost estimate for the Pune Ring Road project works out to about Rs 42,000 crore. The figure now stands after a recent approval by the state government of an increase in costs to the tune of around Rs 20,000 crore, which it gives an idea of the complexity and import of this project.

The successful acquisition of these projects cements RSIIL’s place in the Indian infrastructure sector and marks growth in investment in transportation networks in the region.
