Prominent supplier of rolled, forged, and machined products, Ramkrishna Forgings
announced that its board has approved the setting up of an Aluminium Forging Facility at
Jamshedpur at an investment of ₹57.5 crores to cater to the EV market.
The facility will have a total installed capacity of 3,000 metric tons per annum and is
expected to be operational by the second quarter of FY26. Once at full capacity, the project
is expected to contribute an additional Rs 175 crore in annual revenue to the company.
Naresh Jalan, Managing Director of Ramkrishna Forgings, said, “In yet another step towards
accelerating the transition to sustainable transportation, we are proud to announce our
upcoming aluminium forging project, which will increase our footprint in the EV market in
a big way.”
He further added, “With a focus on engineering and tech-enabled automotive solutions
catering to the future of mobility, the company’s innovation efforts are focused on
developing pioneering technologies that are sustainable as well as suited to evolving
aspirations of the market and the customers.”
The company operates manufacturing facilities in Jamshedpur and maintains offices in the
United States, Mexico, and Turkey.
Additionally, the company announced that its board has sanctioned the divestment of its
entire 100 percent stake in the wholly owned subsidiary Globe All India Services Limited to
Yatra Online for ₹128 crore, net of debt.
