In a significant leadership change, Mumbai-based Bhanushali Studios Ltd. has appointed Neeraj Vyas as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), marking an ambitious growth phase for the production house. Vyas comes on board after stepping down from Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) in August 2024, where he spent nearly three decades and had multiple leadership positions that shaped the success of the prominent channels such as Sony Entertainment Television, Sony SAB, and Sony MAX.
He played a key role in managing the Hindi movie cluster and spearheaded strategic initiatives that helped the general entertainment channels grow during his tenure at Sony. With 34 years of experience in the industry, including deep expertise in sales, content strategy, and programming across films, music, fiction, and non-fiction entertainment, Vyas is poised to bring transformative leadership to Bhanushali Studios.

The studio is off to a high note after gaining success in making films such as Janhit Mein Jaari, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, Main Atal Hoon, and Bhaiyya Ji. And going forward with these successes under its belt, with Vyas taking the leadership now, will add more muscles in the form of strategic expansions with industry players aiming to bridge further gaps within demand and distribution as content and supply evolve over time.
